Privacy Policy
Effective date: 19 October 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Lotingo app for Android and iOS (com.lotingo.app) handles your information.
Information we do not collect
Lotingo has no user accounts. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts or photos.
Information stored on your device
Rounds, called numbers, cards and settings are stored locally on your device so that a round can be resumed. This data is not sent to us and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Camera
The camera is used only to scan the QR code on a card. Images are processed on the device and are neither stored nor transmitted.
Third-party services
The app uses the following Google services, which collect information as described in their own policies:
- Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting): crash and error details, app version, device model, operating system version and an installation identifier.
- Google Analytics for Firebase (usage statistics): in-app events such as the game played, the play mode and the length of a round, together with an app instance identifier, device information and approximate location derived from the IP address. Events never contain free text.
- Google AdMob (advertising): the advertising identifier (on iOS only with your permission), IP address, device information and ad interactions. Ads are never shown during a round.
- Google ML Kit (QR scanning, Android only): runs on the device and may send Google anonymous diagnostic and usage information about the scanner.
See the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not sell your information.
Consent and your choices
- In regions where consent is required, such as the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before this information is collected. You can change your choice at any time under Settings › Privacy › Consent for analytics and ads. Without consent, ads are non-personalised.
- On iOS, you can allow or deny tracking, and change this later in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings.
Declining does not limit any feature of the app.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Data retention
Information collected by the services above is retained by Google under their retention settings and then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data and to withdraw consent. As the app has no accounts, this data is linked only to device identifiers. Contact us to make a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page, with a new effective date.
